How to Make Your Own Drain Cleaner

Mix white vinegar and baking soda with a small amount of warm water and pour into the open drain. Allow the mixture to sit for several minutes in order to help break up the clog. Slowly pour boiling water down the drain to rinse and remove clog.

1This REALLY works. I had a clog which no amount of commercial drain openers would work on. I had to do it a couple of times to get the drain really free flowing. I now use this about once a week to do the bathtub and bathroom sinks to keep them free from gunk.
